The weekend that was

Saturday night we decided to go to Kyle's house, he was having a house warming party.

So me and Dave-o have talked before about shaving fork legs and easy ways to do it without a lathe. So we put our heads together and came up with a redneck design. Dave-o fine designed it. Take the fork leg and lower leg apart, drain the fluid and REMOVE THE FORK SEAL, now the lower leg will spin on the bushing. We made a contraption to hook the bottom of the leg to a drill to spin the leg. We used 120 grit, 600 grit, and 800 grit sand paper to smooth them down.

Even tho we wore mask and eye protection the aluminum dust still finds your nose.

The nice legs with spool hub finally mounted on the Panhead

Great for the skinny look, gonna use the Show class article to polish the legs when we take em apart for final build.

Dave-o found him a sissy bar for his bike to use.
