Puttin' Around

I took a few photos puttin' around Monday after Hurricane Sandy hit NC, it misted and was pretty nasty out.  But I snuck a few pics in.  P.S. Thats a Danny Daily painted gas tank from Peanut City Geeks, it's really kool.

New Shift Knob

Beer+Searching for new shift knob+Beer+Old pool balls+Beer+Military unit coins+Beer+Dave-o's good hair+Beer+Tam's great dinners+Beer+An idea that came to me and Dave excuted the idea=New Shift Knob For The Knuckle.

Heavy's New Ride

Our good friend Heavy in NC is got a new frame going for his Shovel and it looks sick

Making Mid Controls .....

 

Using a set of rubber mount Sporty controls to start,

 

I cut the mount ends off to get.....

 

This piece as the base for the new mid controls.

 

I then drilled a 5/8 hole in the middle of the new base piece

 

which I welded some 5/8 round stock into

 

Then cut the same piece off of the other Sporty control, and tapped the holes to 3/8-16. Cleaned the paint off and bolted the two together.

 

Welded the whole assembly to the frame where I wanted the controls

 

and got to heating and.....

 

bending to the desired hieght.

Puttin' Around

So my good friend Scotty Murnan is always bragging about riding the beautiful backroads of Indiana.  Well honestly I never knew how beautiful it was till I saw these pics.  I thought they were beautiful but at the same time kinda took it as a challenge.  Scotty is riding around just snapping pics of his scoot and things he prob see's all the time but to me in Eastern NC I dont get to see it at all.  So I took the time to go riding in the mist left over cold weather from Hurricane Sandy and took some pics.  But since his pics are epic, Scotty gets the first of hopefully many in a Puttin' Around Series.

Another Score

So a customer at the dealership came in and informed me that he took his Harley Davidson springer off and replaced it with a DNA springer.  The guy was willing to sell it to me at a good price and I took full advantage of it.
