Myrtle So Far

Has been a total bust, but I say that with hesitation.  Sure their is bagger nation 21" front wheels flame paint job having neon light bikes.  But there have been some nice pans show up too. 

 This 58 was up at the shop, the guy was having issues with it cranking.  I took a few kicks and just decided it was easier to push start him because the kicker bearing was wore the fuck out.

 This gorgeous 60 Pan came up to the shop, talked to the guy for a good amount of time, hooked him up with spark plugs and away he went.

 This is the monstrosity shit you see.  A V-Rod motor in basically a 3 wheeler.

But it has been straight monsoon weather here so not so much party life at night. 

BEAKY'S TRANS

 So Jordan was rolling into work yesterday morning. He was getting on the highway when he heard a noise and couldn't shift into 4th, he looked down and his kicker was smashed to the ground and dragging. He managed to get to the side of the road and called me. We loaded the bike up and after work tore into it.

 When we went to take the trans apart the mainshaft had a miles worth of play side to side.

 It seems the nut came loose allowing the main shaft to move. When it did it sheered the keyway in the main shaft and spun the gear about 90 degrees. Had to cut the gear to get it off.

NEW ACQUISITIONS, AND CHANGED PLANS

 Recently picked up this and a '47' straight leg frame to go with it. The intent was to build a stockish bike fatbob tanks, floorboards, etc. etc. Then............

 I got the chance to ride This, DS Tim's Pan. Plans have changed. Keep an eye out for a full tilt knuckle chopper.

As luck would have it. I gave this frame to a friend years ago for him to build a shovel around. Well he found a KILLER deal on an '82' lowrider. So he picked it up and the frame made its way back to the shop. Now this will become the fatbob stockish bike. Will be the first swingarm bike we've done so it should be interesting.

Myrtle Beach Bike Week

So I'm down here working the rally for extra money for my Born Free Mecca excursion next month.  So I may get plenty of yuppie pics and a few kool ones too. 

 Seen this sweet panel truck get pinstripped yesterday, guy did some burnouts when he rolled out yesterday.

If any of you need Swazi or SS patches let me know there is an abundance of them down here.

Black Out

The Latest

So the week and weekend has been nuts as of late.  I have been busy moving to my beach ponderosa and havent had much chopper time.  Dave-o has been messing with Tim's panhead a bit but he is a lazy ass and doesnt post.  My camera is in the shop right now and damn do I need a crew of NSTC down here in Jville cause we got a lot of tough guys around here.  I just want to make this very clear to everyone, I like motorcycles because they are beautiful, they are works of art, they are the most bitching thing on the planet.  I'm not into motorcycles to recieve my tough guy status, you to punk the bartender into giving you the coldest beer in the fridge.  I LOVE CHOPPERS, if you dont like that than FUCK YOU
