More of Monday's Progress

I was going for an odd looking shape at the top and nothing symmetrical with the bike at all.

We have about 85% of the fabrication finished gonna try to knock alot out every night for the rest of the week.

Brandy's Sporty

Dozer sent this pic of his wifes sporty that he hardtailed for her.  Brandy will be rocking out on this thing, I just think it will be weird seeing her without sky high apes.

Saturday Night Special

Saturday night Dave and I finished work and shot right home to the shop and started making an exhaust system.  I wanted something crazy looking cause all you ever see is the same drag pipe design or the Vance and Hines design shortshots on Sportsters.

My pipe design, I like em.

Next up was my rear fender, I have had this fender for some time I just thought the paint was kinda crazy.  Well Dave and Tam said I need to run that fender.

I've made a few more things since Saturday but this is how she woke up Easter morning.

Busy Monday

So Rollin wanted a sissy bar for Revenge Run, we told to bring it all over and we would give him a hand mounting it.  Dave and Rollin knocked it out of the park the bar looks great.

Successful Night

So Tam is starting to decorate a room in the house with kool beer bottles, we had a date with Lucifer last night and it got the best of me pretty good.  8% alcohol and 92% butt hole is what it contained pretty much according to Dave.
Another reason I put my sporty in a different frame was because I had a horrible rocker block gasket leak I had to take care of.  So we knocked that out and the rear tire alignment which gave us hell but we got it.
Before I called it a night I hooked my jockey shift up again.  It's gonna suck when the Panhead comes together because the shift patterns for the two bikes are ass backwards from each other.

Soul Searching

Since the Panhead is not making the Revenge Run, I figured why not add to the excitement and give my sporty a new look.  Dave and I got a  Paughco frame for it in a funny trade we made, and it was gonna be our next winter project.  But what the hell why wait.
 The starting look

 Disassemble time.

 A motorless frame.

The new frame on the table.

This is just my mock up plan.

Nothing is set in stone but seriously I'm not worried about paint and powdercoat.  I'm just gonna build this bike and ride it.  I watched Wil Thomas's Born Free video yesterday and said something that was true as hell.  He may can't fabricate like the best of the best but his bikes have a soul.  I stayed up last night till 2am trying to find the soul of this bike.  I made an attempt to mock up the bike, I think I like the way she sits like this.  With my bitchin' Peanut City Geek/MotoScum painted tank to represent my chopper community love.  Gonna try to find a few more pieces but she will be on the Revenge Run so see you nerds there.
